REGISTER WITH US

To register to play baseball with Ghosts, just follow the steps below, making sure you read each one carefully.

If you're not sure about what you're doing, or something doesn't look right, please STOP and contact the Club President or Registrar straight away (Contacts).

REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN FOR THE WINTER 2024 SENIORS FRIDAY NIGHT AND SATURDAY COMPETITIONS.

PARTICIPANTS MUST BE AGED 15 YEARS OR OLDER AT THE BEGINNING OF THE SEASON.

TO REGISTER, PLEASE PROCEED TO STEP 3.

STEP 1: Check your League Age (LA) - NOT APPLICABLE FOR WINTER COMPETITION

The baseball year runs from 1 Sep to 31 Aug so your LA may be different to your actual age. Look at the grid below to work out your LA - to be able to play Aussie T-Ball in season 2023-24, you MUST have been born on or before 31 Aug 2020.

If you're older than what's displayed on the grid, you're a Senior!

STEP 2: Check the Club Competition for your LA - NOT APPLICABLE FOR WINTER COMPETITION

Use the chart below to see what competitions are available for your LA. The definitions for each appear below the chart.

Aussie T-Ball and T-Ball – a non-competitive, introductory level game in which batters hit the ball off a tee stand. The emphasis in these grades is on learning and having fun.
Little League Minors Machine Pitch
– also called ‘Zooka’, this game sees the batters having to hit balls pitched by a pitching machine.
Little League Minors Player Pitch and Majors
– the first levels where ‘live’ pitching is introduced into the game.
Intermediate League and Junior League
– ‘real’ baseball on a smaller field with some rules modified to suit the age groups and their development.
Senior League
– the last of the Junior grades before players join the ‘open’ competitions.
Saturday Seniors and Lee Richardson Cup
– the grades for all adult players, open to those aged 15 (as at 1 Sep 2023) and over. LRC is designated for male players over 35 years of age and females over 30 (as at 1 Sep 2023).

STEP 3: Understand what you're signing up for

1. A full baseball season - Note that there are NO REFUNDS once you have played in your first game (except in the rarest circumstances).

2. Club Policies and Codes - In registering, you're agreeing to ALL of the Policies and Codes of the Campbelltown Ghosts Baseball Club (Player/Member Info) and the directions and decisions of the Club's Executive made during your registration.

3. Payment terms - In registering, you're indicating that you have read and understood information regarding fees for the sport of baseball and options for payment (About Fees).

4. Be a team player - Baseball is a team sport, and our Club is 100 percent run by volunteers. If you're not prepared to step up and help out when asked, you'll be letting down your team mates and those who work hard to provide the opportunity to play. At Ghosts, we all pitch in!

STEP 4: Register

Registrations are managed through the Game Day Passport registration system. This system requires the upfront payment of fees - see our About Fees page for options.
